Uni-Fi Records is offering a great opportunity for local producers and dj’s to remix songs by label mates Dana Coppafeel & Speak Easy. The remix contest submissions are open until June 28th and public voting will go on until July 13th. The winner will have their remix featured on the upcoming 2013 Uni-Fi Records mixtape.

For those who are just getting to know you how did you get your start in Hip Hop and becoming a rap artist?

I got my start in 7th grade just messin around with this karaoke machine my moms had got me I made my 1st mixtape lol

How does it feel to just have released your fourth mixtape Young and Racked Up?

It feels good because I been workin this project for over a year so to get so much positive feedback on it feels good

What can we expect different from this mixtape than we have seen from your other mixtapes in the past?

On this mixtape I stepped my flow up, and I didnt do any Jak music, I felt like ppl where putting me in a category as a “Jak rapper” and I had to show em tht I can really go hard with them lyrics as well as them club hits that I’m known for making

What are your goals for this mixtape?

My goal with all my music that I make is to just put the city of Milwaukee on I love my city and we got alot of talent here

Any Collabs or Features on the mixtape

Yeah I got my niggas manny baby and my big bro bill martell on the mixtape, I mostly wanted to cut my feature short on this project

How do you describe the current state of Milwaukee Hip Hop?

It’s alot of young niggas out here that’s gettin it poppin in Milwaukee if the older niggas and the Yung niggas unite we could take over the rap game nbs

What role do you believe you and your team GMB Entertainment are bringing to the Milwaukee Music Scene, as well as the rap game as a whole?

GMB them all my brothers we talk about real shit that’s goin on in Milwaukee and that’s why the streets gon relate to us cause we got out own sound
